The autosave feature is great, but it would be even greater if it would work also for new unnamed plots.
I created a new plot and didn’t save it. The program crashed and I lost my work.

I understand your concern. But auto saving unnamed plot files may generate a lot of files in the background, and the user even doesn’t know their existing.
The unnamed plots are suppose to be temporarily used only, if they are not, they should have their name, and it is not difficult to name them.
