I noticed recently that when I edit a text label, it seems like the text is always moving on me. Today I figured out why – every time I edit a text label, it gets 15px wider! It doesn’t matter if you’re adding text, deleting text, or not making any changes at all. The label always ends up 15 px wider than when you started. This is a major problem for getting anything to line up properly!
So reproducing this one is pretty straightforward – open a new plot, drag on a text label, edit it a few times, and watch the size grow.
It doesn’t matter if the “Auto resize element after editing its content” box is checked or not, the same behavior happens.
