Apple tabs broken

The tab controls seem to be broken for the mac theme in version2.50.

if you set up tabs they work as they should in all other themes, but in the Mac theme the active tab area is to the left of the mac rendered controls – basically in the same area as they are in all other renderings.

I have attached a screen to illustarte. the active area to change the tabs is highlighted in Red.
