Using windows 7 theme changes the combobox to the new DropDownList.
I would be great if you will add an option to use the “old” dropdown style (xp like)

The styling parameters are defined in the UI theme, and can only be edited in the UI theme editor (may be released at the end of this year).
I understand, but even in visual studio 2010 the default combobox is using the “old” style. Maybe create another control or add a property on this control to choose between the 2 styles.
We don’t use the new combobox style at all in my company.
