The new animation feature is cool, but can you please turn it or by default? Or make a setting that allows me to turn it off?
I hardly ever use it, and with 4.0 I have an extra click almost every time that it select “Manipulate elements…”

Hi Ulrich, if we turn it off by default, those users who want to use it will have an extra click every time.
We turn it on by default because nowadays people more prefer seeing a smooth animation.

I'm designing UI for a piece of Windows software that has no built in animations. I'm also designing UI for a smartphone solution that does not contain any animations either. I can't imagine that I'm the only user that finds it a bit annoying to uncheck this checkbox.Could you please consider adding a "global" setting? Or maybe a setting in the "Plot settings" dialog, so that you can turn it on/off by default for each prototype?

I am sure you are not alone. Sometimes we have to choose a side, even each side's weight is very close to 50%.
We really don't like to add setting option for every decision we have made, since that will make the setting window more and more complex.
I think the best we could do for this, is to let ForeUI remember the recent selection you have made on this window, just like what we did in the editor for Switch Branching, which can remember the case value type you recently chose. The only drawback is that ForeUI will forget the preference if you restart ForeUI. -
